Trip Itinerary for Floriade and Canberra Day Tour

Your excellent driver-guide picks you up early morning, and soon you’ll be en route to our Bush Capital, driving past the NSW Southern Highlands and through small Australian country towns. Along the way, We’ll stop somewhere, and you can grab a coffee (own expense) and stretch your legs before jumping on board. In Canberra, firstly we will take a guided tour at Canberra Parliament House; an architectural masterpiece costing $1.1 billion and from the inner walls of power to walk on the roof, this is a fascinating place to discover.

Before we spend two hours at the Floriade, where you can see one million flowers in bloom throughout Canberra’s Commonwealth Park, we take a break for lunch (own expense).

You’ll then rejoin the group for a visit to the Australian War Memorial. You’ll know about the legends of Gallipoli, the ANZACs and sacrifices and losses suffered by Australians in past wars fought around the world. Then we go past Yarralumla, one of Canberra’s largest suburbs to get a close look of the many national embassies designed to reflect aspects of their country’s culture.

Please Bring:
An open mind to enjoy and a smiling face. Please dress according to the weather. In summer, you must bring your hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Always wear comfortable shoes, umbrella and raincoats are handy if it rains.

Child prices are applicable for children age between 2 – 15 years old Children below the age of 2 normally travel on parents’ lap
